Rowan
pebbles

Did you know that you can buy individual patterns from the Rowan website. These are great patterns from out-of-print magazines.

Pebbles is knit using Rowan Summer Tweed. I love this yarn and for spring the price has been reduced by $2 a skein.

Combining the luxury of silk (70%) with the durability of cotton (30%), this is a perfect all year round yarn. We recommend you touch as well as look to discover the full beauty of the Summer Tweed in all its gorgeous shades. The nebs of tonal colours create a wonderful textural look in the knitted fabric making this a unique knit for both look and feel.

The great part about doing a newsletter by email is that you can see the pictures in colour. The last newsletter was a bit void on pictures-sorry for that. I will try and make sure that doesn't happen again.

It's Back
trinity

This fantastic tank is found in Jaeger magazine JB 34.

I thought about clearing out our Jaeger Trinity but everyone kept asking for it so the store has been re-stocked.

This great yarn is made up of 35% Cotton, 40% Silk and 25% Polyamide. There are 200m on a ball (the tank takes 3 or 4 balls) and knits to a double knitting weight. The yarn has a bit of a slub in it making it great for people whose tension isn't perfectly even.

New sweater wash
soak

Soak is a modern care for fine fibers. It is a pure, gentle and deliciously scented way to wash delicate items. Available in 3 fragrances, it is rinse-free, biodegradable and phosphate-free.

Babies
sirdar

It is incredible how many people are coming into the store to buy baby yarn. This great pattern is #1583 from Sirdar.

Sirdar brought out Tiny Tots 3 years ago and the shade range keeps growing. It is a blend of nylon and acrylic making it easy to wash. There are flecks of colour running through the yarn making it more interesting to knit with.
