Christmas is coming

I keep hearing that scarves are out but customers are telling me differently. Every day we have knitters coming in who are going to make a scarf for themselves or a gift.

Here are some great gift ideas. Don't forget that we offer gift certificates.

In the news section of the website we are now highlighting new items that have been added. There are new knitting bags, yarns, books and kits.

Silk Needle Cases

New Opal Colours

The newest collection, Huntertwasser, should be arriving in the store any day. Your loved ones will be very happy to receive a pair of hand knit socks-just ask my dad!!

Victorian Lace Today

Victorian Lace Today transforms sketchy instructions from the world=92s first knitting books into exciting, modern-day accessories. Forty patterns and comprehensive information on the tools and techniques of lace knitting guide the beginner, challenge the experienced, and inspire the ambitious.

This book should be in the store at the end of November. We have ordered some lace weight yarn from Jamieson's that should be here the beginning of December. If you are interested in some lace weight yarn, let me know so I can add your colour choice to my order.

Knitting Tip

Always photocopy your knitting pattern before starting. This way you will always have a copy incase you

  • lose your pattern
  • spill on your pattern
  • write on your pattern
  • lend it to a friend
