My trip to the US to see the fall yarns was great.  This is always exciting-I get to see the new yarns as well as the finished garments from the new magazines.  This fall is going to be amazing.

Many of the yarns, patterns and accessories will be arriving just in time for the Knitter's Fair.  Make sure you mark the date on you calendar-you won't want to miss it.

There are some amazing shawl pins coming in for the fall-glass from two different companies, enamel and wood.

I've been doing some spring cleaning in the store.  You will be surprised on your next visit in.

The date for the tent sale is still up in the air.  I will be working on this next week and we will let you know in the next newsletter.  I am aiming for August right now.
Fair Trade
Fair trade products are available in every industry and now in knitting.  A new company out of Peru, called Mirasol is bringing us some great yarns.  Jane Ellison is designing the 30 plus patterns for the magazine so you know that they will be amazing.  We hope to have the yarn and magazine in the store sometime in August.

Bearfoot
There are four new colours of Bearfoot coming this fall.  I bribed the ladies from Mountain Colors with chocolate so I am hoping to have the yarn in August.

If you like knitting socks this is a yarn you should try.  It is a blend of wool, mohair and nylon.  You can machine wash these socks and they come out great.

Donegal Tweed
Debbie Bliss has introduced new colours to her Donegal Tweed lines-Chunky and Aran.  Patterns can be found in her Donegal Tweed magazine and there is a new tweed magazine coming for fall.  There is also a new tweed yarn coming-details to follow.

If you read my blog, you will have seen the pictures of Kilcar.  I might have to knit it again in the Donegal Chunky Tweed colour 14-the colour is to die for!!
