The new bags from Namaste have been selling well.  We have ordered 3 times and are almost out again.  Any out of stock colours should be here in June.

The Lime bags are now discontinued.  We do have one of the Malibu bags left in Lime but the Laguna are sold out.  There will be a new seasonal colour coming in June.
Soft Linen

The Feather and Fan cardigan is knit out of Classic Elite's Soft Linen.  A shipment just arrived containing the out of stock colours.  We have this cardigan knit up in the store in purple-it is amazing.

The yarn is 35% Linen, 35% Wool and 30% Baby Alpaca.  It knits to a double knitting tension-you can use the patterns in Classic Elite's Make it Modern magazine or any other double knitting pattern.
Stitch markers are your friend
Many times customers come into the store and are having problems with their knitting.  Once we add a few stitch markers the problems are solved.

stitch markers

A few ways to use stitch markers
  • When you are casting on a lot of stitches put a stitch marker after every 20 stitches.  This way you don't have to keep recounting your stitches, just the markers
  • Before and after cables.
  • In a lace pattern.  Put a marker after every repeat.  You can now count the stitches between the markers and know immediately if you made a mistake.  It will save you finishing the row and finding out you are out stitches and then discovering  your mistake is at the beginning of the row.
