The annual Knitter's Frolic in Toronto is approaching.  Mark Saturday April 25 on your calendar.  The market is open Saturday from 9-4.  Workshops will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

I was in Chicago last week for the Yarn Market News Conference.  Yarn shop owners from across the US and Canada get together for networking and to be inspired with new ideas for the stores-display, website, social networking and finances.  At dinner on Monday night, Paul Pelssers spoke about the Insider Trend and Color Directions Fall/Winter 2009/2010.  I tried to take notes while I was eating dinner-not an easy task.
 
This fall will be a season inspired by menswear.  There will also be a feeling from the 80's.  Also, anything that imitates fur is important.
