wannietta
You might be looking at Wannietta's picture and wondering "Where have I met her?"

Here are a couple of thoughts
-working at The Needle Emporium (in the store and at The Knitter's Fair)
-teaching at The Knitter's Frolic
-defending her title of Canada's Fastest Knitter at the Creative Festival

Wannietta also knits many of our store samples as well as being sought after by many designers to test knit for their books.  She just finished knitting garments for the new book Knit One Below and will be teaching this technique at the retreat.  Watch upcoming issues of knitty.com-Wannietta has a pattern being published (which she will be teaching Saturday afternoon at the retreat).

Check out the amazing workshops...

Friday afternoon we will be having a Fashion Show.  As soon as the new yarns and patterns for fall arrive in the store my knitters will be working on Fashion Show garments.  I also receive sample garments from our suppliers to be showcased.

Fall 2009
What am I going to see in Columbus at TNNA?

Lorna's Laces
There are new colourways being introduced.  I have already ordered these in Shepherd Sock (without even seeing them) and will look at ordering in Helen's Lace, Pearl, Lion and Lamb and Worsted.

Mountain Colours
Five new colours have been added to their line.  Here are three and the other two will be a surprise for later.  I take a box of chocolate bars with me to every show for the ladies from Mountain Colors.  They claim that our chocolate in Canada is much better than theirs.  By doing this it helps to get orders to the store in a timely manner.  :)

We will definitely be ordering these in Wool Crepe for the Brooke's Lace Shawl.

Offhand Designs
Usually I receive a newsletter from Larissa a few weeks before the show telling me what new products I can expect to see.  The newsletter hasn't arrived yet so I called her.  There will be two new bags-Gatsby and Daisy along with many new fabrics.
Odd Ball Projects
We all have balls of yarn in our stash and some of you feel guilty buying new yarn when you have yarn at home.

While playing on the Internet I found some great patterns to use up your stash as well as the yarn you buy at the Tent Sale this week.
