Autumn Alpine

Autumn Alpine is a midweight sweater knit from the top down featuring an interesting ribbing detail at the neckline, hem and sleeve cuffs and a Scandinavian-inspired floral colorwork yoke. Short rows are worked at the back neck for an improved fit. Optional short rows are also worked at the back hem to lower the back of the sweater a bit. Instructions are given for lengthening the body and sleeves as desired.
This is the fall/winter version of my Alpine Bloom tee.

The pattern is not included in the kit - you can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.
For our kits we used Le Petit Lambswool with Dyed in the Wool.
Please note that Dyed in the Wool is hand dyed and hand spun. No two skeins will match exactly. We will try our best to send skeins that are close. The skeins you receive could look different than the skeins pictured.
Le Petit Lambswool is called a fingering weight yarn but will knit to the tension of the pattern. The ball band says 22-24 stitches = 4”. We have knit other top down patterns with Le Petit Lambswool at the tension of this pattern and the yarn works great.

The sizing is the actual measurement of the finished sweater.
If you would like to make the sweater with a finished bust of 56” or 60” then you need one more skein of Le Petit Lambswool. You can add the kit to your cart and then add an addition skein to your cart (and we will make sure that the lots match) or you can contact us to help you with a larger kit.
If you would like to make the sweater with a finished bust of 64” or 68” then you need two more skeins of Le Petit Lambswool. You can add the kit to your cart and then add two addition skeins to your cart (and we will make sure that the lots match) or you can contact us to help you with a larger kit.
